These are very therapeutic pads that produce moist heat and are better than traditional heating pads that produce a dry heat. These pads are positional and can be shoved off where ever you want it to be. These pads are made from natural home made pillows made of corn that can be heated in a microwave.
2. Electric moist heating pads
These pads work on electricity and eliminate the need of water to produce moist heat. They are designed to produce their own moisture by drawing moisture from humidity in the air and retaining it in the hot pack’s outer flannel cover.
3. Sodium acetate heat pads
These pads contain a supersaturated solution of sodium acetate that produces heat when the crystallization process is initiated by clicking the piece of metal that is the liquid.
Heat therapy has been used through ages as a remedy for back pain and heating pads of various forms have been used to obtain the desired heat. Heating pads is one of the most effective and economical solutions on back pains.
