Most of the back injuries are attributed because of posture; body mechanics i. e. work habits, stressful living, loss of flexibility and poor conditioning. Around ten million employees were absent due to back pain, which ultimately tend to loss of $50 billion per year. Human spine is made up of 33 bones called vertebrae. Each of these vertebrae is divided by cartilage disc and connected by ligaments. The spinal cord is held in place by stomach and back muscles, as the spine is the only foundation of the entire body.

Back pain is also caused due to improper lifting of weights. One should follow proper technique in lifting weights like there should not be any twisting of body with weight in your hand, items should be handled between knee and shoulder height, keep the load as near as possible to your body, taking the help of other person in lifting heavy loads or the better option is utilize mechanical assistance.
Healing methods
To relieve from back pains and spinal problem take a breath and stretch your body, sit on the edge of the chair, drop your head towards the knees with complete relaxation along your shoulders resting on the knees and your arms side along your legs. Keep on follow this method for 2 to 3 minutes every day. Lie on the floor with your legs on the chair at right angles, take warm breath with your knees bent and practice good stress management. Or else you can go through the book as there are many books and information available in the market near by stores and better and the best option is practice yoga.
